    Hi,

Noted a sudden drop in EUR to USD rate this week. Wanted to transfer money to US but rate is quite low and I will be in loss.

Any prediction when the EURO rate will be up again?

    Could be a while.

From what I gather the policies (or lack thereof as he has said there is not much more he can do) Mario Draghi is bringing in to stimulate growth will lead to a lower EUR v USD. Check out the FT or Times and should be a write up there.

could it take over a month for EUR to spike little bit?

If I knew that I would be loaded :)

FX isn't my main interest. I only know the above from from reading papers, economic analysis etc. My uneducated guess is a couple of months of low EUR but that can all change with quarterly figures from both sides of the pond.

If it's not a big amount maybe just take the couple of euro hit. There are found big on FI like Trade 2win where you will probably get better advice. Some of the guys there trade purely FX

Everything points to a continued weak Euro/strong dollar and the trend is likely to continue with a tightening of monetary policy by the US fed and more stimulus from the ECB.

Having been at Kilkenomics over the weekend, there was all around agreement that they expect the dollar to rise +- 10% over the next 12 months.....
