Is it just me or is this a little odd? Just reading he Indo online re Dolores O Riordan. This was a line in the article: "Originally from Limerick in the west of Ireland.." Is that very odd or is it just me?

"Originally from Limerick in the west of Ireland.."

Is that very odd or is it just me?

If you're referring to it being unnecessary to specify Limerix location, I'll bet that the writer was "researching" foreign reports of the incident and was too liberal with ctrl+c; ctrl+v.
