Hi there, looking to move to Firhouse, possibly Ferncourt area. We have two children under four years of age. Is this a safe/good area for families? Any advice very much appreciated as we are not really familiar with the area at all. Thanks in advance!

A good area, plenty of choices for primary schools. Lots of amenities, good public transport. The main negative would be the traffic gridlock on the St Colmcilles road in the morning and evening.

Lovely area, OP. Plenty of families there; quiet area..you're near the shopping centre and schools and colleges are nearby, but yeah traffic'd be your nemesis there.
