Sound gone on Samsung Galaxy S2

    Apologies if this is the wrong forum.

    The sound on my phone is gone. I dialled *#0*# to find out if its a software or hardware issue and the speaker still works.

    I took out the battery last night for ten minutes and it went back working but its gone again. Anyone have any long term solutions please?
