    Hi guys,
Just looking for a little advice.. I started beer and wine kits last night.

I checked both after an hour last night and both showed signs of activation.

This morning the Beer looks fine but the wine looks dead, well it is gassing but no foam on the top at all like the beer has is this normal??.

Now, the yeast in the wine kit was 4 months out of date but when it had started I thought everything was OK.

It's probably fine. Leave it a couple of days and take a gravity reading.
