    Most people around these days weren't around 100 years ago. Largely, they can only base things on their own experiences.

    It makes me laugh when people harp on about 'the good old days'. Even the poorest people in this country have a better quality of life than medieval royalty due to medicine, technology, science and progressive socio-political philosophy.
