    Hi im 17 and looking to join the army when i turn 18 next year as i have no one who can give me any insight into the beginning stages i.e how to first get in (fitness test ect) then what happens after And if anyone could tell me what happens if i join the RDF like can i get a career from it or do i wait for the PDF? hope someone can give me a slight insight as i know its what i want but have many questions and hope someone can help. Thanks.

    RDF only time you get paid is while on annual training, PDF recruits will have to live on base during training and will be fully trained to join there unit after 6 months the pay is crap for recruits i may add but will go up when reach the rank of 3 star private after 6 months
