    I see a lot of sites in Wicklow have a Section 47 planning law attached to it. I know all about this and I don't think I'd waste my time contesting it but is this the case for all sites in Wicklow? Is it possible to find and buy a site in Wicklow without ever having lived in the region or have any family ties attached to it?

    It relates to a requirement set down in the county development plan and applicable zones. Therefore you need to refer to the plan but from my own experience in wicklow it applies across the board.
