I was thinking of changing a leaking flat felt roof with EPDM rubber sheeting and I'm looking for advice on a few things.

First is it a good system (small roof c.3m x 3.5m south facing)?
Where to source (I'm in Sligo)?
How difficult is it to do yourself?
Can you present measurements and buy a complete kit?

    Any advice is appreciated

EPDM has a life expectancy of up to 50 years.
Any old EPDM roofs I have repaired, the faults are always in the ' details ' for example legs, upstand corners etc.

To do yourself you would need to have some bit of knowledge in the product and the installation of same. The one thing I would say is make sure you pick a dry day to install as showers are an absolute pain in the backside as you need to give the adhesive a few minutes to go off before sticking and if it rains then you need to dry and start again.

A small roof such as yours you can quite easily cut the whole area in one seamless piece, the largest m2 available piece is over 900 m2 !

I would like to know more about the edge details, any opes/ rooflights etc and also are you going to insulate.

    Regards

    Thanks ffor the responses guys.
In my case 2 opposite sides will need a triangular profile edge to guide the water to the gutter at the front. No rooflights. Not sure if I should put insulated board underneath. Open to advice.
I've seen on youtube a video showing special mouldings for the sides, flashing to the vertical wall of the house etc, but of course it wasn't in Ireland so I'm also wondering about the availability of same.
