I am currently doing a laboratory techniques plc and was wandering what are the exams like? Are they similar to the leaving cert / multiple choice etc.

It is very hard to answer this as the exams will be set by the centre (college) you study in.

Before they run the course each centre has to submit to the Qualifications Authority of Ireland (QQI) a programme which outlines how they teach the course and how they will assess it so therefore the content and structure of the exams will differ from centre to centre unlike in previous years when it was a common module.

The best thing for you to do is ask the course co-ordinator/tutor for details and if possible to see the programme details.
