Looking for a moderately priced laptop for design.

Hi,

I am by all accounts a tech noob. I am in the market for a laptop to run programs such as Creo and Autocad. I was wondering what features are essential in running these type of programs effectively. Obviously RAM is important i know that much .

Advice or recommendations would be appreciated.

What do you consider "moderately priced" and do you plan on running the latest version of these programs?

Know that with laptops you pay about 3x the cost of similar spec desktop, so if you want cheap, you'd be better off with a desktop.
