    Hi,
Just bought home a lovely bunch of Banana's from Aldi yesterday with this
    attached to one.
Have it sealed in a container in case it hatches whilst i decide what to do with it.

Mind made up so. Reading those articles their saying that the eggs won't hatch as its too cold here. Banana in a plastic bag and thrown in the bin outside.
No freezer so can't freeze to kill them. Don't want to burn them.

BTW, interesting that there now are multiple incidences of these spiders/eggs popping up at the mo.
Never remember coming across this before. Always a bit of an urban myth.
To have them in my house is a bit freaky alright, even though I'm a big bug fan.

Bananas are kept in cold storage until the are needed and then ripened so eggs may die.

I would send the photos to London Zoo
