Return product to Elara?

    Hi Lads,

I am not sure if this is the correct section but I am posting here as some of you may be customers of Elara.
I just bought a msata ssd for my laptop but it's not working. I tried it in two different laptops but still none of them will post.

I don't want this SSD anymore as I was given another one which actually works so that I don't want to RMA it.

Was wondering if I can just return it and get my money back. Would this be possible?

    Thanks!

Edit: The package where it came in was damaged and squashed.

What RMA reason should I claim to get the money back?

Can't I just return is saying that I am not happy with the product as it didn't work for me?

You may need to change settings in the bios for it to work. Look for settings SATA or hard disc mode to AHCI

I tried it in a lenovo t420 but I got an error saying the SSD is not being properly detected.
"Error 2101 Detection error on HDD2 (mini sata)"

I tried it in another laptop, a dell e7240 which has native support for mstata SSDs (comes with one by default) but it won't even post. I also noted the SSD is overheating.

The SSD contained was squashed when I received, perhaps it was damaged on transit.
