I had hoped to do the Ring of Kerry next year for the first time but I have now been informed I have to take the family on holiday!

So we are heading to Wales and I have spotted the Wales Sportive is on while we will be over there and only down the road.

Just wondering has anyone ever done this?

Probably not . But in my experience any events I have done in the UK have been extremely well organised albeit more off road than road.
I see this one is televised thats pretty cool and it's Wales too so I guess you can expect some . .up .

    Go for it . . .

I don't know anything about the sportive but from travelling through Wales with work, cycling is very popular with tourists. There are plenty of hills and valleys. I often wished I had the bike with me.

I'd say it would be a great day out if the weather plays ball.
