    Hi guys,

Im from the west of the county and used to be a regular down to train in a popular club the city a few years back, i even competed in a few events around the country and was pretty good, i won them all and am still very motivated. Unfortunately the job i had at the time took up all the time, strength and energy i had really and had to quit with the intention of coming back as soon as i could, i miss the sport alot and have been following it closely since and am eager to get training again asap.

Can someone tell me of any MMA, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, similar clubs or Gyms in the West Waterford area that i can start training with as soon as possible!? Or the best ones?

    Appreciate any help!

You might be out of luck. I know several of the Waterford MMA guys travel in from Dungarvan as there is nothing closer.

I know a few fellas from Ring/Dungarvan and they all have to commute to the city to train. The only thing remotely local is the boxing club in Dungarvan but to my knowledge that's very IABA focussed and mightn't suit you at all. If you're as far West as Lismore/Tallow/Cappoquin direction then you'd be better off going to Fermoy Fight Factory. It's about half an hour's drive and the lads coaching at it are top notch.
