Do I need proof of address?

    Hey Guys,

I am going to go to an NDLS centre next week to apply for my full license after passing my test. I'm finding it hard to get proof of address but do I need it?

I'm getting conflicting answers on this with some saying that I don't need it because I had it when applying for my learner permit and as long as my address hasn't changed then I'm okay.

So is that true, do i need proof of address?

    Thanks :)

Have you your prsi number on a card.
    Have you a passport.
    Your old licence.
Bank account this would do as proof of address.

All above would be fine and needed

If the address on your permit has not changed then you DO NOT need to bring proof of address. The NDLS helpline will confirm that - 0761 087 880

As per the NDLS website it says to bring proof of address (http://www.ndls.ie/en/Driving-Licence/about-the-new-plastic-card-licence.html), however if you scroll down it contradicts this by saying:
Where it is your first application for a full licence having passed a driving test, you must submit:
A fully completed NDLS "Application Form for a Driving Licence"
    The appropriate fee
    A Certificate of competency
    Your current/most recent learner permit
    Documentation to verify your PPSN
A completed NDLS Medical report form if required in your case

But to be safe why not print out a bank statement :)

You definitely do not need proof of address if it hasn't changed. Just old permit, certificate of competency and proof of PPSN. And obviously €55 and completed full licence application form.
