VW Golf Conking out

Hi Guys

I have a VW Golf IV. 2003

Three days ago the car wouldn't start. I jumped her and off she went..2 miles down the roal on the hill she goes again...I push it down the hill and up she starts again..on the way home some stupid woman in a merc pulled out in front of me going into an estate, I had to slam on the breaks and out she cuts again..I charge her again and off she goes

I knew I needed a new battery so I got a new one. I fitted it last night and she started fine..she did need a bit of encouragement..I let it running for 5 mins..came out hr later and she started first go..same again an hr later

on the way to work this morning she cut out on the same hill..She is just failing to get that last spark..I pushed it 15 yards and it starts again..Ive it now parked up

Any idea's to what it could be? Anybody want to buy a golf haha

You need to get it scanned firstly and go from there....
