im looking for someone to give me permission to shoot on there land.

im fully insured and licensed to do it.

the kind of shooting im after is rabbits, foxes, birds and other vermin.

preferably looking for permission around the naas- killcullen-newbridge-kildare town areas but dont mind travelling a bit further.

i can meet anyone for a chat about it and show insurance and licenses.

if interested send me a PM.

    thanks
    tommy

    MODS:

this might look like it should be in the shooting section but not everyone who has land looks on the shooting section.

I think the lads who got the best reception here were offering day for day work in return.
One chap was a sparks and the other a painter.

    Life's a two way street ;)

If you give premission they are a guest if they do not they are a trespasser. You do not owe duty of care to a trespesser you must not do anything that might harm him but after that he is on his own.

You owe a higher duty of care to guests. Most Gun clubs have insurance in place to cover members. However my attitude as long as they do nothing to annoy me or my animals it is a case of live and let live.

Its hard around my area to get permission as there is a lot of horses so farmers dont want you shooting incase you upset the horses. Plus i would never go onto someones land without permission.

like the lads said above trading a days work or a bottle or whiskey sure helps. most of all knowing a farmer who'll agree is the most suitable.

years back a couple of local lads used to shoot out land. there wasnt any trade done just a understanding that they wouldnt do any harm wouldnt break fences or if there were stock out that theyd act sensibly.

but if a farmer only has a few acres and he gives you permission there mightnt be that much to shoot on it.

very rare seeing a fox these days imho
