Christmas 2014 travel destination ideas

    As title suggestions me and the other half are thinking in heading out of Ireland for the Christmas and new year, we were thinking the usual Lapland or a sun holiday but some where out of the ordinary and on a reasonable budget would be somewhere to consider, ideally somewhere with 4 hour max flight time from any airport here.
    Any suggestions be great thanks.

    We are thinking of doing the something similar for 2015, did you end up going anywhere?
