Laptop stuck on weird boot menu

    Posting on my phone. Can't get laptop to boot. Leaves me to a weird screen and I can get to a boot menu but that's it. Anything I do leads me back to the original menu which says my harddrive, cd thing and ipv5 and ipv6. What can I do? I updated my lenovos bios from their site and it auto restarted. That's how I'm here

    I changed boot menu from uefi to some other option and it boots in a weird resolution and had no desktop picture. It is a windows 7 laptop upgraded to win8 then 8.1. I can't reset it as I don't have it's key which is another headache all together

    You want UEFI left on with Win8. A successful flash shouldnt cause that.

    Try with UEFI on and TPM/Secure Boot off if you have that option.

    somehow i fixed it the other day. not even sure how. but im just glad that its up and running again
