Lights on Modem

I have a modem in my bedroom as it is the best locations to ensure coverage throughout the house.

However, the lights on the modem bother me when sleeping. (I try to cover the modem).

Is there any way to turn the lights off on a modem but keep it functioning?

    Cheers.

What kind of modem is it.... Or is it a router?
Some have a function to disable the lights

    Thanks.

Will duck tape do the job?

It is both a Belkin modem and a Scientific Atlanta router.
