Vat on supplements

    I've been ordering supplements from an American website almost every month for six years. This morning I was told that I owed Vat on the package for the first time. I was just wondering is this a new directive by our lovely government or have I just been getting away with it for all this time. If it's a new directive it seems like a mean vindictive measure to penalise people who rely on these supplements for quality of life that the health service can't provide.
