Brute strength and ignorance 2014/2015

    Gonna give this a go for some tips (hopefully) and motivation.

    Still toying with idea of a Half IM in the summer so training will be half geared toward that.

    Fearful (perhaps too much) of burning out too early.

    This week:

    Mon: Swim 1700 with group

    Tue: Treadmill run 40 mins with intervals of 2mins @ 17kph slight incline
    some foam rolling after

    Wednesday: Circuit of crunches, planks, weighted squats and lunges and then 1700m in the pool.

    Thursday: Turbo session with club

    Friday: Swim 1500

    Sat: Wedding (urg) Usually (long cycle 70-80k on TT)

    Sun: long easy run hopefully

    * need to squeeze in another run at least and another bike/turbo

    Monday: Swim 1900 few quick bursts but mainly steady
    Tuesday: Easy enough 10k 43.50 mins avg pace 4.30
    Wednesday: Strength legs and core etc and then 800m in pool
    Thursday: AM Swim 1800m and Turbo intervals with club in the evening
    Fri: Day of rest.
    Sat 60-70k on bike
    Sun: long easy run about 14k at 5.15 pace

    Total 4500m swim
    24k run
    3 hours bike
