We recently bought a ground floor apartment (new build), After about a month we discovered blue mold on the walls of the bathroom. Turns out there was a water leak under the bath.

The reason we didn't see it earlier is because there was boxes stored against the walls. Now we notice blue mold on the walls of the rooms on each side of the bathroom.

The walls are not plastered there just painted dry lining, Can someone

tell me if these walls will ever dry out and what the long term effect will be.

    Thanks for any help.

Clean the mould, put a dehumidifier in the room and wait & see

Once you stop the source of the leak it should naturally dry out for you
