Parental Leave and Bank Holidays

Hoping maybe someone can help, before I contact citizen's information.

I'm back from 6 weeks parental leave, been back about 4 weeks. In my job Bank Holiday pay is calculated as a daily average of your previous 13 weeks, so I only got 4.5 hours extra for the bank holiday due to 6 weeks of zero, due to parental leave.

I'm just wondering if that is correct. I've seen numerous times Parental Leave should be treated as if no leave has been taken and all your rights should remain the same. So should my 6 weeks parental leave be counted as zero hours? Or for the purposes of working out my bank holiday pay, it should be my regular working hours?
