Landcruiser Tyres - Michelin Cross Terrains

We have an 06 Landcruiser 8 seater - family wagon which is driven by my wife 90% of the time. However we do a few long trips (UK) a year and also use it to tow a big trailer (3t's) a few times a year.

It has always had Dunlop AT20 tyres on it but due to bad tracking and a few slow punctures we need to replace all 4 tyres.

Got a price of €660 for 4 new Michelin Cross 265/65R17's including tracking and balancing from a very reputable place here in Cork that I've been told have a state of the art tracking system.

So seems like a good price but I was wondering if anyone else has these tyres on their landcruiser and if they are ok?

I'd have bf goodrich all terrains over any other. They get massive mileage. Not much road noise. Good off road, in snow etc and punctures will be a thing of the past.

I'm running a very similar tyre on my 2007 landcruiser, 265/65R17 michelin latitude cross. great wear from them, plus good off road grip too which suits me for farming, water clearance is unbelievable with these tyres. Been running them for about 3 years now and yet to report a problem

I have Michelin Latitude Cross on my cruiser. Bought a full set in 2012, and just replaced the fronts 3 weeks ago after 2 years and 60,000 miles or so. The back two still have 20k left on them I reckon. They are all round a great tyre tbh. As said, amazing water clearance. Decent off road, and they last very well on a heavy machine.

That's based on everything from towing big trailers to driving to Italy and France

The BFG all terrain is probably better off road, but wet Tarmac performance is not as good as the Michelin.

Typical, cut a front tyre sidewall driving through the farm this morning, bloody sick, a good front tyre with loads of wear left on it. it couldn't have happened to a back tyre which was at the end of its life, ah the joys of motoring!!!!
