New TV on €250 budget- Advice!

    Parents are looking for a new TV on a budget of €250 or so. 28-32in, but the bigger the better I suppose. Doesn't have to be a smart TV or anything fancy.

    I've been in looking in Currys, Power City etc and most of the TV's in that price range are from brands that I've never heard of before, so thought I'd ask here to see if anyone has any recommendations, brands to avoid and whatnot.

    Bought a Nordmende 32" from Power City for 249 two years ago. Full hd and Saorview! Super set, still going strong and picture easily matches a similar Sony costing 200 more in the other room!

    I think I have the same model for about 3 years now.
    It's working without any issues, but it's only HD, not full HD. At least mine is.

    Went for this in the end, being delivered to the folks on Tuesday so hopefully it's okay!
