    Yes.
    It's similar to something goes into something else, but with another bit left over.
    So if you have a cheap alloy seat post then maybe you can help.

    I've a decent two-bolt but cheap alloy one (http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/SPOO272BKTS/on-one-seatpost-twelfty-sport-mtb-seatpost--black) that you can have for 5 euros and two packets of crisps (any flavour, for my twin boys) if you can collect it in Rathmines evenings.

    My wife is due another baby today, so if you're interested send me a PM to make sure that I get an email about it as I may not be checking boards as regularly as usual starting any time now.
