Poweringrewards.ie is a loyalty card scheme for EI customers and is linked with Supervalu. If you are an EI customer and have a Supervalu/Superquinn rewards card and sign up by Nov 16th they will send you out a €20 Supervalu voucher.

Thereafter you get 1 Supervalu point for every €2 in your EI bill. And if you accumulate enough points to get a '5% off your next shop' till receipt from Supervalu you can enter the till receipt code online and get €10 off your next EI bill which of course is more valuable than using it in Supervalu unless you intend spending more than €200!

On a 2 year contract I noticed, or €99 otherwise.

I'm on their PAYG so I don't think I can get that offer!

Well the account is in the landlords name but I have a SuperValu rewards card.
Would it work even tho it isn't in my name?

Don't think so as you need the account holders DOB among other things.

Just to bump this for the 16th closing date for the free €20 Supervalu voucher.

I also got the '5% off or EI voucher' when I took up the cheap Guinness offer yesterday. Entered the code and got €10 off the lecky bill. How bad.

Existing customers of EI & Supervalu will also get this 20 euro voucher (eventually) in case anyone is wondering :)

  • I got the €20 card today. Anyway Electric Ireland are also giving away a free light up Christmas decoration worth a whopping €6 as well. Just print off the voucher and hand it in at Woodies. I got my one today and it's not bad. Limited stock of 4000 and until the end of December.

There's also a free 100g Lindt chocolate bar voucher to be redeemed at SuperValu. Limited stock of 3000 and until the end of November!

I just contacted them via boards as I had been sending them emails last week to the powering rewards email address but no reply - on here they replied straight away saying vouchers are still being sent out in batches.

    Basically play the waiting game!

Got the €20 gift card this morning. But can anyone make out the terms and conditions on the rear? They are totally unreadable to me!

PS there is some info on the supervalu site. Valid to end of 2015 and I think it has to be used in the one shop.

  • Ignore the T&C's on the back as they're erroneous anyway.

got mine on 1st dec. can it be used online?

    Hi folks,

Just for clarification: the SuperValu gift-cards are valid for 12 months and they are usable across all stores. They do not have to be used in one transaction or always in the same shop.

Hi Mollyd90, the card can just be redeemed in-store and not online.

    Kind regards,
    Una
