I'm starting a course there soon on a Friday evening at 7.30. Can anyone recommend somewhere around there to park every Friday evening for 2 hours? Not very familiar with the City centre driving wise. Thank you.

There's ample on-street parking all around there as its right in the city centre. Should be free too, but 7.30, but it will still probably take some time to find a space so budget for that.

Also, keep an eye out for high tides..

If the City was ever under threat from flooding due to high tides, that area around the College is nearly always the first to flood.
