Just buy one of the spray cans that re-inflate the tyre for you. I got one for €12 in Topaz on the way to collect the car when I left it overnight in a hotel. The savings from the €275 can go to a replacement tyre if you ever need it.

Had a compressor and spray can in my last car but didn't help when the screw that I drove over ending up going through the side wall too. Had to get road side assistance via insurance.

I want to get an idea of what it'll cost to have a spare.

I have the puncture repair kit in my car that a garage would use to fix a puncture. It's like a screw driver, with a point, and a hole through the side so you can thread a rubber strip, to plug the hole.
Also, thinking of changing to the scenic, you happy with it?

As an add on question can someone also recommend a good compressor pump to use if I go for that option.
