    Morning all.

Need to find a small(ish) car for the mother-in-law!:(

Up until recently, she's been driving a Punto. That's gone bang though, so I've been charged with finding a replacement.

Her mileage probably averages at about 10 miles per day over the year. She minds most of the grandkids, and ships them about in her car. She doesn't want anything bigger than a 1.3, and doesn't want anything (much) bigger than her Punto.
With that mileage, I'm obviously discounting diesel. I'm thinking about Japanese for reliability, maybe a Jazz or Yaris or something. Have seen a few Pandas advertised, but don't know what they're like reliability wise. Personally, I'd like to get her an auto 'as she's pushing on a bit and I think it'd make things easier for her, but with her husband's car being manual (and sometimes she has to drive that), I might be making a problem where there doesn't need to be one.

Edit: Forgot to add, the budget is €2500 tops. She'd obviously prefer to spend less.

That's the long and the short of it guys. Any suggestions?
