The Gards had the road blocked outside Trim (on the Robinstown turn off), but it was very dangerous on approach. They had no advanced warning the road was closed ahead, no information on where to go (if you weren't a local) and no flashing lights. Ideally they should have had a gard there to direct traffic and give information.
