Fix a wooden front door?

Hi, I've a wood front door and it looks like someone took a lump out of the bottom corner on the side where the door opens. The wind is howling through this gap, I've used p-seals in the frame and an external seal on three sides of the frame and a seal flap at the bottom of the door - none of this has stopped the air getting through the hole though.
Any suggestions on how I might fix this? I tried wood filler but as it's at a corner I couldn't form it into the straight edges I needed (tried once and gave up...)
Any help greatly appreciated - trying to save up for a properly fitted composite door so don't really want to spend a huge amount of money sorting this.
