    Hi all.

I'm hoping it's ok to post this:

I'm in the process of developing a thermal paste applicator and I'd like some feedback via a very short survey. It would really help if you'd take a minute to fill it out.

    Thanks!

Completed survey, it would definitely be a good idea to have that product, especially for people who are applying thermal paste often. Good idea. :)

Would make me change the thermal paste more often for better thermal performances.

Have you made a prototype? Any tests versus traditional pea method?

It would be a hard sell to people who have built frequently if there is no measurable temp difference. Maybe for first timers or those doing builds to sell on if they are doing a lot

I don't see the point to be honest .... even if I had such a tool I doubt I would use it.

    I think it's a great idea .

I think the existing 'pea' method is pretty accurate to be fair for most people...

    Completed the survey there.

I doubt I'd use such a device myself, but I reckon this would be useful for first-time builders, depending on how exactly the device works.
I've seen some woeful jobs over the years; paste squeezing out over the edge of the socket, all over caps - I reckon some people have differing ideas on how big a pea should be. ;)

Therein lies the problem , I mean first thing in the morning or after a load of pints is usually a lot more than middle of the day , plus I never really measured it , just flush :D
