    Can I put a 128G sd card in to my xperia Z1 compact.

    Its only rated for a 64 card but the 128 will work but might have issues with some brands. If you go with the SanDisk they have tested it as compatible: SDSDQUA-128G-A46A

    It's a micro SD HC. When I put it in it seemed to take fine. I moved all my music from the internal storage to the card and that seemed to work fine but when I tried to play it my phone couldn't read the files. I went in to try and individually select them using file manager but it wouldn't recognise the file type. I could see all the files(songs) but they just had a numeric name. I took the SD card out and tried to read it on my laptop but I had the exact same result. It couldn't play/read the files. I think I'll cut my losses and just go for a 32G card. Thanks for the input.
