Trolley battery charger?

Been away from the game a lot lately and decided to go for a tentative 9 holes with my dad yesterday. My Pulsar trolley battery only got about 2 hours of a charge but I thought I might get 9 out of it. Hooked it up when I got there and not a peep out of it, just a red light on the trolley handle. Left it to charge…

Been away from the game a lot lately and decided to go for a tentative 9 holes with my dad yesterday. My Pulsar trolley battery only got about 2 hours of a charge but I thought I might get 9 out of it. Hooked it up when I got there and not a peep out of it, just a red light on the trolley handle.

Left it to charge overnight and this morning the charge indicator was still red and there was a smell of burning from the charger and a small bit of plastic melted on the side of it!

Does anyone have a recommendation on where to get a replacement charger? It's a 12V 3A charger. Checking Ebay and elsewhere (Europower), €35-45 seems to be around the going rate.

Anywhere cheaper I should check before I pull the trigger?
