Limited amount of ground coffee and coffee beans on sale here:
    www.allaboutpods.ie/collections/on-sale-now

I ordered some Dallmayr beans on Friday and received them today via Fastway. €5 delivery or free over €50.

Good value in ground Lavazza Rossa 250g x 2, Lavazza Oro 250g and illy 250g. Seems to be 50% cheaper than tesco.ie

(Might want to check self life. My beans expire May 2015.)

Lavazza Rossa is already out of stock, unfortunately, but thanks all the same OP - it would have been a great deal!

Nice one OP, need to re-stock on whole beans. Any recommendations out there?

A bit OT : FWIW Dunnes have the 3 pack of Rossa for the price of a 2 pack on offer at present

I use www.discountcoffee.ie, best prices for excellent coffee beans. I usually buy the cases 4 x 1kg and have always been impressed with them. Usually delivered in 1-2 days and free delivery over €50

Use these guys myself, brilliant service. Usually deliver next day if you have your order in before 2pm.

Has anyone ordered from here before? No contact details on the site from what I can see?

Very little range in the whole bean section.

The Tesco extra beside me stock 4 brands of whole bean all for around a fiver. Lavazza Rossa being one.

I find the online crew a bit pricey once you add postage.
Although I wonder if this stuff can manage a crema when squeezed through an aeropress?

Whilst coffee can technically have a best before date measured in years, there is a big difference in results based on freshness like any other food.
After weeks it has lost the oils and proper flavour. After months it's going stale.

Buy little and buy often for a proper bargain.

That's quite some service... Got my order this morning. Great stuff, good bargain.

The Lavazza Oro has expiry of 09/2015, same with the Illy. I got some of the Movenpick beans and they are shorter 02/2015. that said, they'll get used and I'm sure they'll be great.

thanks OP just ordered a few of the Illys and some Lavazza Oro. Also got one Movenpick as I've never tried it before, anyone know is it nice?

Also just for info for others looking for ground coffee cheaper than normal Ikea do 250g of espresso or filter ground coffee for €2.15 a bag. Its not as nice as Illy or anything but for the price you can't go too far wrong.

Thanks, I have to say I am super impressed with their delivery times. I order 10 x Lavazza Oro at lunchtime and when I got home from work the same day they were sitting on the kitchen counter... not sure how they got into my house though ;-p

Mine delivered pretty quick, I had a packet of Ikeas cheap espresso ground coffee on the go, switched straight to Illy when it arrived and I'm now in coffee heaven, the difference in quality between the two is pretty sizeable I must say.
