Double depth stove issue

    Hi,

I am putting in a double sided, double depth stove. We broke through our wall between 2 rooms last week. My problem is that it is very deep and the longest of stoves - either a stovax or hunter will still mean the stove will be set back far into the opening. It will be a 13 me stove so sufficient to heat both rooms. Before I go ahead and buy the stove can anyone let me know what I should check at this point to see if it will heat. I have a pic but not sure if I can post here.

    Any advice appreciated

Yep looking at double sided insert stoves myself, you should consider the pama-kominki prestige or a kratki FIREPLACE INSERT OLIWIA 18.

From i can see the Stovax double sided stoves are way over prices and bad design. Make sure you have a high flue on the stove it takes more heat from the air before it goes up the chimney.

Also Efficiency ratings are not standardised so ignore half of them.
