Got a leaflet through the door,they seem to some really good deals in office supplies.
8gb Toshiba flash drive for €3 and 16 rolls of toilet roll for €7 I think at a glance.

Plus VAT @ 23% on all those prices. Also you have to order €70 worth of struff to avail of free delivery.

Also you have to order a minimum of 5 flash drives to get them for €2.99 ex vat. So €2.99 x 5 +23% vat = €18.38

Or buy one for €4.29 incl.vat.

Once you buy from them once you will suffer a lifetime of junk mail.

Took me over 4months of non stop contact to finally get them to go away and stop sending me their marketing crap. Never again would I use them.

Purchased a backup tape from them in the mid 90's.

I must have been getting junk mail for 15 years.

AND... dont forget about the cheap tvs that never materialized last year! Even Joe duffy got involved!

Conversely, I emailed them in February 2010 to stop receiving their catalogue. They phoned me back to confirm I'd been removed from their list, and I've not received anything from them since.

i used to order on a monthly basis from vikingdirect for the office. i only ever ordered 2 products.......printer paper (when they were on special at around €2.39 for 500 sheets) and printer ink, which at the time I found them to be competitive on.

i'd say they made little money from us though due to the amount they spent on sending us brochures on a weekly basis.

€7+ VAT for 16 toilet rolls? I buy a 10 x 4pks (ie: 40 rolls) for €10 !

Their printer paper 80gsm at the moment is at a decent price of €2.49 + VAT
