Heard on the radio that rehabilitation institute have started a fundraising deals site. Apparently you pay a small amount to join might be worth looking at. rehabdeals.ie. I just had a quick look seems you have to sign up (free) to see the prices. Depending on their prices it could be a bargain alert.

you have to pay to see the price, you'd have to be a complete idiot to even think of using the site.

How much money from sales goes to the wages of the CEO?

140k seems fair for an organisation of its size .. pay peanuts get monkeys. Unless of course you know any suitably qualified people who'll work for less.

Ok so now I know €140k goes from sales to pay the CEO.

    Thank you for your answer!

Must have missed that thread, sorry. Having read it don't think I'll be signing up soon! Definitely not paying to see the price of an item.

I would suggest the irish public would have about the same appetite for an Irish Water deals site at the moment.

But sure if you just want to buy one of the items they're all on amazon or wherever.

The whole point of the Rehab Deals website is that you pay a small amount and have a chance of getting a brand new item super cheap. It's always going to be cheaper than retail and has free delivery so you're quids in from the start - you just don't know how good a deal until you look.

The more people that view the item the cheaper it gets - so you can wait a while and let the price go down. Anyone can accept the price they're offered at any time or decide to wait for it to get cheaper.

I'm just saying - if you want to buy something normally go to a normal shopping site, if you want to play the game on Rehab Deals do (or don't) but you can hardly expect to play the game and not pay the game fee??

It's a slot machine, and the prize is a discount.

Somewhat... but the difference is that slot machines tell you whether you win or lose ie. you've no choice.

On this site you always get a discount and you can decide to take it or wait a while - so its a choice you're making.

You lose every time you reject the discount. So what do you do, keep throwing more coins in until you get a discount you are happy with?
