I will try add some more details on the performance of my self build but just to get started, today is a great example of Solar Gain.

The large Kitchen/living space below has the large number of windows directly south facing.

At 07:50 the inside temp dropped to 16.3c and the outside temp was 1.8c, throughout the day the outside temp increased to 10.5c.

During the same time the inside temp which is recorded by a Netatmo station increased to 20.2c as shown in the graph below, this is with no heating being turned on at all.
