    Hi there,

I'm thinking of buying a gas tumble dryer - does anyone know of a stockist in the Louth area?
Also, are the gas dryers 'Vented' only?

    Thanks,
    Brian

All gas dryers are vented, they have to be because you are burning gas.

White Knight are the only folks who make domestic dryers to my knowledge.

Can't help with Co. Louth I'm afraid, but several dealers in Ireland sell them. They also seem to have an outrageous mark-up for some reason.

You might be better to contact White Knight in the UK directly. They will ship to Ireland for around €100.

Are you wanting the dryer to be a typical 600mm wide affair, or a larger commercial size one?

SpeedQueen do a commercial size one anyway. Not cheap though.

My parents put a white knight into a rented house and its going good. They are really efficient compared to electric ones and they leave the clothes super fluffy as there is no static. ASDA sell them so if you know someone in NI you can get it delivered to them. Or I think ASDA has a collect service in their stores. So you probably can get it ordered to the store and pick it.

White Knights are a ridiculous price in the republic

I never knew there were 600mm gas dryers available! Learn something new everyday.

I notice the White Knight is for Natural Gas only, which is probably why I never saw one in Donegal! Only know of LPG dryers, which are those big commercial size ones usually used by B&B's, etc.
