I'm currently out of contract with Sky but still paying them away by the month.

If I call them up and ask for a multiroom card (no box or install, already have spare box in bedroom), will that activate a new 12 month contract?

I would think so however chances are, if you ring them up and tell them you wish to cancel and really push this.
They will surely offer a deal and perhaps you could get a years multi room for very little.
