Leap Card tag off issue - Howth Junction

    I have been having problems since the 28th of October, I am tagging off at Howth Junction and the machine seems to register that I have tagged off but when I check my account the €2.60 hasnt been credited to my account.

    I dont think it is an issue with the card, as I can tag on. I have also tried to use different machines in Howth Junction. I have contacted Customer Service and they are going to refund what is owed.

    I was wondering if anyone has encountered this before?

    What is the problem?

    When you tag-on €4.50(?) is deducted from your account. When you tag-off, the €2.60 is added back.

    No, I think he is saying that €2.60 hasn't been credited to his account.

    I am wondering if anyone else has checked their account to see if it is a problem with the machines in Howth Junction or a problem with my card. LEAP customer care didnt know.

    There is a stand alone validator on the platform, I might try that later.

    There are 3 platform readers at HJ to try but then you risk not being able to get past the barriers unless they are left open like they usually are from time to time.
