Electric Shower

    Hi All,

I have a Triton T90 shower it's just over 12 months old. The thing is the water is coming on but not heating up, just a constant flow of cold water.

I removed the cover all all electrical connections look ok, the filter itself is also very clean.
I reseated the breaker also but nothing looks to have fixed it.

The only thing is water was pouring out the overflow valve around the same time the hot water went. It jWas just the ball stop that needed to be adjusted. These seemed to have happened around the same time so I was wondering is it related to this?

I was thinking is it something to do with the water pressure because of this?

Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciate.

Can't really afford to have an electrician call out for this so.

    Thanks for the read!

    Many thanks
    Mike

Wow! Please leave the shower alone if you don't know what you are doing!!

The "ball stop" is called a pressure release devise. Once this is blown you should not pop it bake in but replace it.

What happened is you had a kink in shower hose or your shower head is so blocked that it restricted the flow of the water to such an extent that it blew the PRD. But before the PRD blew the build up of pressure also blew the TCO.

The good news is all Triton showers come with a 2 years warranty. Ring Triton Ireland. Their number is on the sticker on the shower. Can I suggest you ring them & just say that your 1 year old Triton T90Z only pumps out cold water. Don't tell them you took the cover off
