    New Series.

ICE LAKE REBELS follows a handful of survivalists on Great Slave Lake in the Northwest Territories in Canada,
as they hunt for food, drill for water and trade for necessities, as well as protecting their own territory. Ultra-libertarians are forced together during brutal winters live on this frozen lake. Choosing another kind of lifestyle, these rebels have bid farewell to living life the conventional way on land and traded it in for floating homes and houseboats... Since they don't live on land, they don't pay taxes, and, therefore, no one polices them.

    Discovery

    Looks interesting so far..

Saw the second episode last night, meh, not great.

That fella Stephan comes across as a tool. The whole living free of taxes and out of the reach of government thing is a bit of a charade, they probably don't earn enough to pay income taxes and they'd be free of property tax if they lived in a camper van (and that wouldn't sink!) or far enough away from civilisation. Canada is a big place after all...

Yeah Stephen needs to do more deeds and less waffling to the cameraman! That house-tilt scene was a comedy of errors! I actually think he made it worse at first when all the fridges opened etc! LOL

The two dyky girls leaving did not surprise me either. You can't take city gals like that and expect to cope in those conditions.

The hunter guy is my bet for the most successful one so far...
