Didn't see a thread for this so I decided to create one.

It's been out a week or so now but I decided to let ye know anyway!

Sky have added the ability to now stream your pictures from your Android Phone/Tablet straight to your tele!

Works for Android as well as iOS from 2.2 or iOS 5 up.

The programme continues playing in the background so if you've music on you can stream pictures over it!

Update the app from Google Play Store and if your box doesn't have the latest uo date you can force it by holding backup on the top of the box as it turns on!

    Great free feature IMO.

    More info here.

I've installed the app on my Android phone, but I'm not getting the camera icon in the navigation bar on the app. I've checked the software on the phone (''no updates available''), and I've done the forced update on the sky box, but still no joy. The software in the Sky box is compatible (number beginning with ''4f31''). I've even tried uninstalling, then reinstalling the app, with no joy. Any clues how to get around this issue? Thanks.

Have you signed into the app using your sky id?

Is your box and your phone connected to the same broadband connection?

    What phone are you using?

I haven't signed in (will try it). Yes, I'm using the same wifi network for both the Sky box and my phone (HTC One m8).

I have an m8 too so it should be working. Saying that when I tried to use the feature first the camera icon wasn't available.

No joy so far. Will keep trying. If it showed up for you eventually, the same thing might happen for me as well.

What is the model number on your sky box?

My box is from 2011, it's the black one with the Anytime+ branding, already has the update

Using a Nexus 7 2013 and it just pops up.

Shame there's no video function as of yet!
