Mid-2014 13" rMBP – can the SSD be upgraded?

I'm thinking about getting a new 13" Macbook (MGX82), and obviously upgrading the memory myself will save a few euro over buying it preconfigured by Apple. Does anyone know if it can be upgraded easily? Seen that there's a tutorial on iFixit, but looking around there are conflicting reports. Others have said that the m.2…

can't upgrade memory or the SSD, the SSD is PCI and the RAM is soldered.

The SSD is removable but the part is custom made and quite expense the last time I checked. And replacing it yourself may void the warranty.

I’d recommend getting the machine BTO with the storage you need.
