    Hi

A friend has an interview at Intel, in East Park Shannon sometime this week at about 11:30am.

Any idea how he can get there from Galway Coach Station.

    Thanks

    Hi,
Are you travelling by bus? I assume you are as you mention the coach park. Take whatever bus goes to Shannon, so that will be Limerick/Cork bus.
I think you will need to use BusEireann, one of the 51 buses, just check its not an express.
Taxis are available from the Shannon town centre, beside Lidl or it is a 10 minute walk.
Pass McDonalds & Oakwood Hotel, keep going straight along this road and there is a hole in the hedge at the bus stop on the LHS to get you to the intel building.

The bus might stop outside ths Shannon Court hotel, Ballycasey, Shannon which is across the road from the back of the Intel building. Just cross over the road with your back to the hotel and the hole in the hedge is near the bus stop on the otherside of the road.

Only in Ireland would the instructions for going to a job interview in a strange place include going throug a hole in the hedge :)

OP, I'd suggest that your friend rings the receptionist at the place where the interview is, and asks them for instructions for getting there. Get a taxi from Shannon bus-station to the front door of the place. Leave hedge-exploration until after the interview (as you're leaving, ask the receptionist for instructions on how to walk back to the bus station.)

It isn't quite as 'squeeze between the bushes and watch out for the thorny briars' as suggested by the other user. It is an actual paved path, although it could do with being better marked and with a safer means of crossing what is a main road
